I have a few pots of veg in my garden, a plot and more pots in my inlaws garden.
I will have more in my garden once my garden is useable, as it is all dug up for my extension.

Close up of tomato plant no 2. My tomatoes are going red, YAY
I am trying to save money.
I am trying to learn to cook.
I am trying to recycle what I can.
With being a stay at home mum with 3 darling children, 2 at school and 1 at home I am trying to improve our diet, our shopping budget, and generally be healthy.
I grow alot of my own veg (my other blog) and am learning how to freeze and defrost differant foods.
I used to cook alot of processed food, did do some pasta and fish but as time has gone on I got into growing my own veg, then I got into doing a weekly menu for our dinners and doing my weekly shopping of 50 pound from my menu, so this way I would only buy what I needed. Then I got interested in freezing food, my veg and the things that normally go off in my fridge, peppers, mushrooms, fruit and things like onions.
I shop around for a bargain, and I am a fan of Martin Lewis, from joining his website in 2008 I have learnt a lot.
I have made mistakes, learnt an awful lot and am still learning.
My older 2 children love the fact we grow our own veg, ask to help cook for which I will always encourage.
